Yotacoil is one of my biggest and most powerful electrical engineering projects. It stands around 7ft tall, and has an entire cart of electronics to run. I was inspired by previous MITERS (MIT Electronics Research Society, a student club for building mechanical and electrical projects) members and their Tesla coils, ranging from small desktop coils to medium floor-standing coils. I decided to create one of the largest Tesla coils MIT has ever created: Yotacoil.
